New brand unveiled in London. EMS Seven Seas changed to Seven Seas Group.

2014

EMS Seven Seas became a private entity under new ownership, and was no longer listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange

2012

Left the Eitzen Group and changed name to EMS Seven Seas ASA

2008

The company sold Stromme-NME AS, the manufacturer of lifeboats and other maritime equipment and acquires Seven Seas Shipchandlers

2007

Stromme changed name to EMS Ship Supply and acquired operations in Bahrain, Djibouti, Oman, Qatar, Spain and the United Arab Emirates

2005

Stromme acquired Norwegian Maritime Equipment AS

2004

Stromme acquired Norwegian Maritime Equipment AS

2002

Acquired Hoff Ship Service GmbH in Hamburg to strengthen our Marine Spare Parts Supply Service

2001

ITS Norway and sister companies in Germany, Poland and France were acquired to further strengthen our marine products and spare parts divisions, and a 50% shareholding in Spain's Crosscomar

1992

The company opened its first office in Singapore

The company, trading under the Stromme name, began its stellar trajectory to become the world’s leading supplier of specialist marine equipment. A subsidiary company was set up in the UK which kick-started the concept of trading marine spare parts

Established in Oslo when Norwegian engineer Björn Stromme began producing cleaning equipment for ships' holds and tanks
